A little remark:
I was always bitching about how Notepad++ didn't modify the modification date
& time of a file. Well, turns out, ZoneAlarm was the responsible. Anyone having
similar problems (e.g. CVS, SVN clients not recognizing modified files) should
upgrade to a newer version.

Just send you the ctags.tmp.
I changed the extension of .sql files so that the ctags.tmp doesn't
include it. But the error still occur.

Hi
I know how to change fonts, colors, etc... but not how to change the behavior
of the curly brackets. At first, they became red and in a larger font when
you put the cursor next to them so you could easily see which brackeds belonged
together on the same "level". Now, for some reason, they are also put in
italics.
Where can I adjust this behavior?
Thanks!
Bart

I found where you can change the behavior of those brackets, but although I
didn't specify they should be in italics, they still are when I put my cursor
next to them. Any idea?
Thanks
Bart

In Crimson Editor, it is sufficient to simply put your cursor on a line and
press CTRL+c to copy that whole line, even if no text was selected. In
Notepad++,
you first need to select all the text on that line before you can copy it.
Is there a way to copy like in Crimson Editor?
Cheers!

I like Notepad++ but it lacks one important feature:
column mode operations
Some other editors have this. The user switches to column mode
and can mark e.g. column 7....23 and the copy, paste, delete, insert something
in place.
That is a feature I don't want to miss any more.
When will Notepad++ have this feature ?

Notepad++ is an excellent editor!
At work I use ULtraEdit and the Column Mode is very useful to me, not only to
keep the code more readable!
I hope to see a similar functionality in Notepad++.
Using the alt key down method, the version 4.4 allows to delete a rectangular
block or fill it with a single character: what's about the possibility to insert
the typed text at the same column of a set of consecutive lines, eventually
adding spaces if the lines are short?

Hello, when I associate for example .c and/or .txt extensions with notepad++,
their icon goes away and they don't get a new one. They look like files that
can not be opened. When I actually double click them, it opens nicely in
notepad++
though.
Please give files associated with notepad++ a nice icon instead of having them
show like 'unknown' filetypes. I tried setting the myself in folder
options/filetypes
of windows settings, but it doesn't work.
Every other program does this correctly, please make notepad++ do it too :)
Tnx for a great product.
