Last time I tried this, control+M would only work with the advanced find/replace
(control+R) if regex was turned off. See

Please show us a bit more tolerance, whining users are always positive. Is
ignoring
the alternative for Npp? Not everyone is a coder, most people here are simple
users, give them a better insight by more transparency of the limitations on
Scintilla or whatever is playing a roll in it. I know, it's not funny when a
very small number of programmers change the code only for them self without
sharing it to others, and at the end you are the only one doing the hard work.
Try to organise some coders to support you, so that you can concentrate on
bugfixing.
A small group of 3 or 4 skilled people would be good enough in my opinion.

How about a check box in the Save As dialog
[X] Add .txt if no extension given.
The preference could me made sticky.

Please fix ASP parsing to handle ASP.NET code correctly.
Server-side language is specified in Control/Page/script tag.
Examples:
1. <%@ Control Language="c#" ...
2. <script language="C#" runat="server">
But parser thinks that code is in VBScript and highlights it so.

I had add the columneditor.cpp and columneditor.h but still wouldn't work. I
think maybe its the scintilla.dll. Where should I put the scintilla.dll or how
should the setting be to call the dll from VC8++? Thanks

I think there is an error in the toolbarIcons.xml file, possibly because more
icons have been added between others with Notepad++ updates. I noticed the Print
Now icon was actually showing the Save Recorded Macro icon. So I counted the
number of icons in the toolbar - 26, and opened toolbarIcons.xml and sound only
24 entries for icons. I had to add a few, and move the print entry down from
24 to 26:

<hover>print_hover.ico</hover>
</Icon>
I also found errors in the Crystal++ Icons, the toolbarIcons.xml file seemed
to be missing entries for vertical & horizantal sync, which shunted everything
down 2, none of the icons after were in the right place. As soon as I added
the code below, and re-sequenced the entry numbers, it worked correctly.

I love the auto-completion with word ... but my antiquated language
(business
rules!) still uses line numbers and every time I start to type one it tries
to autocomplete the number...
Is there a way to tell it not to auto-complete numbers?
