The function list is case sensitive try doing a search and replace for Function
with function in your file. Now they should be listed

I have this strange situation with N++:
I'm writing a tiny website, with page extensions .xhtml which in fact are PHP
pages. Naturally, I use php syntax-highlight option. Then I want to save a file
with .xhtml extension, but surprisingly - N++ changes the extension after
clicking
"save" button to what he thinks is the best - in this example to .php
IMHO it's a little bug.

I've used the free C++ compiler from Borland with other text editors before,
is there no way to use Notepad++ to write the code then execute the compiler
passing the details to it?
You did this by telling the text editor where the compiler was and then passed
certain parameters to it, file name and path. It the executed the compiler as
a console command. I've also used NSIS installer this way as well when writing
scripts for it.

I'm trying to create a simple plug-in that allows you to use numbered bookmark
positions. For example, you can press Ctrl-Shift-1 to bookmark a specific line
to bookmark #1 and then you go back to that position using Ctrl-1.
Anyways, I have the basic functionality working but how do I show the bookmark
symbol next to a line? Can I use my own icon next to the line? (eg. a little
circle with a 1 inside it)
Also, how do I get notified if a line is deleted? I want to erase my bookmark
if the bookmarked line was deleted, etc.
Thanks for any help!

Oops... I think I figured out my first question. I had to look in the Scintilla
Markers documentation... It seems to have exactly what I want! (except it
doesn't
look like you can use your own icons)
I'm still wondering about how to get notified on line deletion though...
Actually,
I would ideally like to follow the line that is bookmarked even if it changes
position, etc...
Thanks again for any help!

Run Notepad++. When the UAC box pops up, click "Cancel". You should get 2 error
messages, and then Notepad++ will open.
Go to Settings -> Preferences...
Click on the MISC tab, and uncheck "Enable Notepad++ auto-updater. Click "Close"
and exit Notepad++.
The next time you launch, you shouldn't get the UAC prompt.
