There is already a hotkey for closing tabs: Ctrl+W! Another one like Ctrl+F4
will bring confusion. BTW Ctrl+W is a standart combo for closing tabs in many
apps (Mozilla Firefox for ex). Personaly I don't like the idea...

Hello,
I have 2 long XML strings that I try to compare using Notepad++.
I save each one in a file, then I run the plugin XML tools -> Pretty print
with line breaks.
I save each file, then I right click and opt for "Go to another view".
Problem is that the second panel does not behave as the first:
In the first panel, long lines dissapper (no long line wrapping),
In the second panel, long lines are broken into smaller chunks at the end of
the visible space, to insure that all the content of that line is visible.
What can I do to repair this?

When launching Notepad++ from CMD shell and using a filename as first parameter
(file to load is in the same directory), this file cannot be found by Notepad++.
This error only occurs when within Notepad++ there had been loaded a File from
another directory previously.
Notepad++ seems to access the directory of the file in the last open tab,
instead
of checking the launch directory.
When there was no file opened in Notepad++ previously, it correctly loads the
file from the launch directory.

This might be a long shot. Since I use Notepad++ for practically all my coding,
(different languages) I was wondering if it is possible for a plugin of some
type to download a file onto the Parallax BasicStamp? I've created a 'User
Defined'
language setting, and I see that people must be using some sort of compiler
on the notepad. Parallax does offer some sort of files about their IDE.

Hey together.
I was working with V4.6 and have used a lot of Sessions by storing it with
"Store
Session" (in German Version "Sitzung speichern").
Now I have installed the V4.75. Now I can't restore the Sessions which I have
stored with V4.6.
Furthermore the the Session-Handling in V4.6 was still comfortable and faster
than this is in V4.75.
My suggestion for following versions: It should be possible to store Sessions
without any Dialog (like V4.6 do).

PS: I've uninstalld V4.75 and using V4.6 again.

I am not sure if the stylers.model.xml file is the only file containing the
information about the syntax highlighting, if there is something else I should

I submitted a patch, hopefully it'll get integrated.
Its more or less a little shortcoming of Scintilla that wrapping behaves so
erratic. With some workaround the correct position can be found but Scintilla
offers no real solution since one has to make 3 calls (atleast thats how I did
it) before you get the correct result, which is 2 more than my liking ;).
Wrapping
seems to be a very difficult thing to do so thats probably why it gives so much
trouble. The same goes for automatic indentation with wrapping, I dont think
its very easy to implement, especially if the indent gets larger than the
screen,
then what? :).
Anyway, its set to WontFix because Scintilla made it so hard. The same goes
for the scrollbar, which was related to Scintilla aswell.
