The session handling is much easier in 4.7.5 because it is supported by Explorer
plugin. The dialog helps you to have all your session in Favorties list. So
if you store a session you can find it now faster in Favorties. You can also
add your old session here to have a faster access. Furthermore every file of
a session is displayed in Favorties for fast access, it means, you don't need
to open the complete session to get only one file of it.
If you don't like this, I can make this behaviour optional in next version of
Explorer.
But something additional comes in my mind. There were a format change in
sessions
files. Maybe you need to convert your old files to support the new format. Have
a look into the new standard session file of Notepad and add/remove the missing
items.
Best Regards
Jens

I also always wanted this: close tabs with both <ctrl+W> and <ctrl+F4>
ps. When I mapped <ctrl+F4> to tab close, pressing <ctrl+W> makes weird 'ETB'
thing, instead of closing tabs or just 'do nothing'. what 'ETB' means for?

What about adding 'override comment style', to change every comment font easily?

Theres global override. Select Courier New, fontsize 10 and apply, no more Comic
Sans MS.
If changes in stylers.xml dont apply, find the one that Noteopad++ uses in
APPDATA
or install directory

Try changing 'TRIPLE' and 'TRIPLEDOUBLE' in styler configurator.

is enough.

Great job.. and not so hard? At least definitely not WontFix as I suspected.
Does your patch fix also the find tool positioning problem?
Is there a reason for not to implement this fix into N++? Performance issue?
Shouldn't be.. I hope.

Okay, the mug is no option I see. How about an Amazon-Wishlist or anything like
this?

There's no hard coded path in Notepad++.
It's just the pathes of IExplorer and Firefox are pushed in the environment
variable %PATH% when they're installed. It's not the case of Opera (AFAIK),
that's why Opera is not added in the run menu.
BTW, the run menu is not coded in Npp, you can add your run item via Run
dialog.

Hi all,
I would like to edit .sas files with Notepad++ and then submit them to SAS.
Does anybody know how to setup Notepad++ so that:
a) It runs with Windows Base SAS installed locally on the PC
b) It runs with Windows Base SAS installed on a different PC?
Many thanks

Yeah, I think a little more on the help would've been great. I didn't put
together
right away that the Aspell installer did not come with a dictionary. I just
assumed it would have. Maybe something simple to the effect of, "If you have
installed Aspell and continue to receive the error - be sure to also download
and install an Aspell dictionary."
Of course, after now installing notepad++ and Aspell on a different computer,
while installing Aspell I see the message "Please download and install at least
one dictionary from (Aspell)".
Thanks, Jens, for noticing this thread and responding :)
James
