I have done a few seraches on the forums, but can not find a post that relates
to my question.
What I would like to do is copy lines 4 - 12500; without using the mouse or
holding shift + pageup/down
Is there a way I can simply highlight all the lines with the few clicks or
keyboard
strokes?

Thanks for the reply. I got the InsertPlugin and it does have 2 date/time
functions.
But the month doesn't have a leading 0 if one-digit. I don't know how I would
do conditionals.
Is my next option to start coding C++ on these or a fresh plugin?

Perhaps the macro would work if you start from the bottom, moving up and then
run it "until the end of the file"?

You could probably use a regex (CTRL+H or CTRL+R, check regular expressions
option) to insert the missing 0's.
Find field:
DATE::(\d\d\d\d)(\d\d\d)$
Replace field:
DATE::\10\2
This means a 0 will be inserted between the first (\1) and second (\2) grouped
expressions of the find field. The $ is needed to exclude dates that already
consist of 8 digits.

That is, if the date is on the end of the line.
If there always is a dot behind the date, use "\." instead of "$".

Hello, I'm a hungarian guy and i have similar problem.
UTF file, existing characters showed correctly, but I can't type any new
???? etc chars. Instead of them Notepad++ show an "square" and save an
ANSI encoded ???? chars.
