I just had the problem and was playing around with it. It works for me on
Windows
Vista if I have "Run as Administrator" checked and have it set to run in Windows
XP compatibility mode

Actually, yes I did; this has no affect unfortunately. Anything else?

The "Plugins HOWTO" page says that you accept plugin templates for other
development
environments.
I've created a plugin template for XDS Oberon compiler that I use (converted
from the Delphi example).
How do I share it with other people?

Two annoying issues (bugs, in fact) I experienced using version 4.8RC:
1. When clicking with the *left* mouse button on a file in the window manager
(extra plug-in), then the pop-up menu appears, standing in the way to see other
files in the window manager.
I'm expecting to see that pop-up menu when you click the *right* mouse button,
not the *left* one. When you click the *right* mouse button, then you
deliberately
choose to see the pop-up menu.
2. When the mouse cursor is in the editor window and you're pressing *ctrl-tab*
to switch to the previously edited document, then first the window overview
box appears as long as you press the *ctrl* button.
However, when you release the *ctrl-shift* button combination, again that same
pop-up menu as described in 1. appears (God knows why, but I don't...).
As a result, neither the window overview nor the pop-up menu disappears when
you release the *ctrl* button. You have to press on the left mouse button to
get rid of both windows.
Since this is so annoying, I switched back to version 4.7.5 until this issue
is solved.
Best rgds,
--Geert

>use the new Scintilla 1.75 feature of letting the scrollbar grow depending
on the maximum length of the longest line, and dont shrink anymore. Its like
the old behaviour but with probably better performance.
I'd second that. Would be better than the "jumping jack flash" horiz. scroll
bar...

Great plug-in, nice alternative for the many tabs open when you have lots of
docs in the editor.
One request:
Is it possible to show the hidden part of the path name in a kind of tooltip,
when you hoover over the different files listed in the Window Manager?

Find using Reg Exp - ID_* \[
Hi
v4.7.5
I'm using the 'regular' (Control F) Regular Expression 'find'.
I have many lines like this:
ID_Viewport_0 [Viewport]-layer;make;z
ID_Rev_0 [Revison]-layer;make;z
I'm trying to find all the occurances of text where lines starting with ID_
& before the first [ character.
I've tried using these expressions: ^ID_*\[ & ^ID_[*]\[.
Those expressions return nothing. However ^ID_ finds something so I guess it's
either * or \[ that's failing.
Any ideas for the solution?
Thanks in advance
Dave F.

Hello all. I have a little problem with the indentation. In a normal txt file,
if I indented some text, then I de-indent it in a blank line and I make a
return,
the new line starts anyway with the previous indentation. Example:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/8/9/1334417/indent_test.txt
I noticed it happens not only with normal text settings, but also with other
programming languages.

I'm wondering if it is possible for notepad++ to save the state of collapsible
sections when saving a session file? For example, I have an INI file with many
sections like so
+[Section Blah]
Blah1=Setting1
Blah2=Setting2
I don't update many of these sections, so it would be nice to have them stay
closed and only keep the ones I work with on a regular basis opened. Is this
possible now?
TIA

such an option available?
