Since create those macros is really a tedious task (think it repeated on 10+ PCs), I hope that Shift+Del, Ctrl+Ins and Shift+Ins macros will be included by default in future versions of Notepad++. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Im not sure which version of VS Don uses, but it probably isnt Service Pack 1+. The old GUP.exe still has the old manifest file which didnt cause the crash but does cause trouble with UAC. So I say its GUP. -Harry ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Change the horizontal scroll behaviour from dynamic one to static one. I am assuming that means the horizontal scroll will always be visible. Can you please make that a configurable setting, in the default case there is non need for a scrollbar unless there is something to scroll. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. No, they won't. But you can copy your shortcut.xml in 10+ PCs. You've done well on the ASCII<==>UTF-8 options. bash scripts don't like the BOM so it's good to see the option. Keep it up ; ) I have a couple of suggestions. If these have already been done then plz point me in the right direction 1. Automatic unfolding from search results on double-click.. eg. Find "foo" in all open files. Double click on a result from the search window. The corresponding document is brought into focus. (as it does currently) The relevant line unfolded and highligted. 2. Automatic dismiss of find / find in files dialog I would suggest providing auto dismiss as an option, and providing a key-shortcut for button 3. Mapping "find all in all open documents" functionality to files to find-in-files tab Ok this is one from ultra-edit.. shift+ctrl+f persistent check-box with "search in all open documents" <enter> performs search dialog automatically dismissed 4. Editing option for folded xml blocks Currently when you press <enter> at the end of a line of folded xml - the block is unfolded - a line is inserted after the opening tag - the cursor is placed on this line I would much prefer that - the block remain folded - a line be inserted at the end of the last line of the folded block, ie. after the closing "/>" - the cursor be placed on this new line 5. UTF-16 It'd be nice to see full support for UTF-16 unicode encodings. I believe it's only a small jump from UCS-2 to UTF-16 Regards Steve ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. "Static" behaviour is relative with old one, which is more dynamic. The current behaviour in this version is : the horizontal scroll bar will adapt the current document. if it increases along user's scrolling, it won't be decrease, until the current documet is switched off. In this case, horizontal scroll bar will adapt the length of current view of current switched-in document. So it is still dynamic.
