The same problem.
Vista Business. v 4.8 only, 4.7.5 was OK.
Also have problem with copy paste: Shift+Ins -copy and CTRL+Ins -paste do not
work anymore.

I am using Npp4.7.5.
When I type a doxygen special command, it is not highlighted properly.
To reproduce this bug
1. Open a new document
2. Switch language to c++
3. Type /*! in the first line
4. Type \param or \todo on the second line which is a Doxygen special command.
The word will not be highlighted
Highlighting is fixed when
1. adding a space at the end of the first line
2. switching for another window or another tab in Npp and going back to the
current tab.
If you add a new line, the special command on the previous one is not
highlighted
anymore.

I confirm the problem with Cyrillics: typing anything in Russian keyboard layout
results in English characters and digits being inserted. When I open a file
with Russian text (single-byte characters, win1251 encoding) it is displayed
correctly, so the problem only appears when typing in new text.
If I restore the SciLexer.dll v.1.7.3, everyting works as it should.

It seems also that there is a problem with the offset in go to line dialog box:
nothing seems to be working.

Hi,
How do I make Notepad++ to encode ALL files with "UTF-8 without BOM" encoding?
It refers to files that I loads with NP++ and/or create with NP++ etc.
ALL of the files must be encoded with "UTF-8 without BOM" encoding ...

But I can tell you that doing a public release is not a easy job since the
users'
configurations are different.

Removing "update" folder will cure the reboot issue.
Whereas the crash issue, try to remove "Explorer.dll" may remedy this problem.
