I hope that with this information in hand, you'll be able/willing to fix it and perhaps consider Wine in future releases. By actively ensuring compatibility with Wine (and stating this on the website!) you could increase your userbase somewhat more as Linux-users would be more likely to use NPP then which they may refrain from doing now over fear of NPP breaking in Wine later on (just like this tab/toolbar issue). Hope you guys will consider fixing it and supporting Wine :) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. The "find" is working fine, but the "replace" is no longer working. The "replace all" does not work either, it says 0 tokens found when "find" and my common sense indicates plenty of occurances that should be replaced. Then I tried to go back to earlier version of software thinking it's a bug with new release. So deleted the 4.8.1 files. Downloaded and installed 4.7.5 version and unzipped that into directory. Tried to run and yet again the "replace" is not working. What am I doing wrong? Is this just my computer, if so then what is required software wise on my computer to get this to work again? ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I ask this for reason I don't want to get in writing my own plugin since NPPTextFX does the most I want but... I want to make a macro that: folds a current section - step to begining of that section - goes to home (cursor pos) - (asumming there is a brace) unfold the section - go to (or mark) matching brace All can be done but only I don't know how to acces "Quick -> Find matching {([<Brace>])}" e.g. I need this macro to leap to the end of (say) a function in php. Just be presing one button not having to scroll or do more than nesacary (is that speled corect?). Perhaps clearing the selection will work. While having the Find dialog open, click in the document itself and press CTRL+Home. Then click the Find button again. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. That is that if I indent a section of text that has wrapped (say a long paragraph inside of <p> tags), the entire wrapped section will indent. This makes my code look very nice and clean. I have seen no way to do this yet in Notepad++. I think this is what the guy earlier was asking about with "multiline tabbing", but no one could understand his English (although I could be wrong). In any case, I want a wrapped section of text to look like this: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx instead of this: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Is that possible using Notepad++ or any of its plugins? Thanks! ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
