How is the bundled set of plugins determined? Are the plugins arbitrarily chosen
by Don Ho or is there a selection procedure in place? All of the bundled plugins
are very good but some I don't use and other plugins that I use are not bundled
with the install.

so - nobody seems to know if this is a bug or a new feature? it really makes
the program quite unusable. But for the price, i really can't complain!

All the included plugins in OR is chosen by me, there's not really a selection
procedure.
The main criteria is : The plugin should be stable (not making Notepad++ crash)
and not changing the expected behaviours of Notepad++.
The plugin size is also an important factor.

It's a bug. Anyway, a unwanted behaviour.

If it's a question of price for you, I encourage you to use another "free"
editor
(there're a dozen!).

Just an idea of a language to add:
PhpBB code coloring would be nice... (kind of ironic considering this is a
forum,
isn't it?)
I help out at BleepingComputer.com a lot, so I primarily use Notepad++ for
dealing
with PhpBB, but no editor recognizes it.
Oh well, just thought I'd throw out the idea.

I use czech fonts -> problems
I use http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/commun/misc/nppInputFix.zip
+ I delete HexEditor.dll
-> still problems

Hallo,
I program a lot in 6502 assembly. I still use WordPerfect Office Editor from
1987 but want to switch to N++. Assembly is supported as Language but I want
to add my own dedicated to 6502 ( and later Z80 and 6809). I downloaded and
read the UserLangDefineManual.pdf and Notepad++.UserManual.pdf but didn?
understand
both manuals :( The screens shown in the first one seems to be of an older
version
because they don't match screens I see in V4.8.1.
I already hacked the langs.xml file to add my own definition but that didn't
show up in the menu. I expected that because this file didn't show language
menu in one or another form. Styler.model.xml does but changing it and later
renaming it to styler.xml didn't help either. Creating a userDefineLang.xml
didn't help either.
Can anybody help or point me to a better help file?
