Here is the solution:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1969180&forum_id=331753
(Just remove HexEditor and MultiClipboard plugins)

Seems you've associated the "htm" file extension with Notepad++ when you
installed
the editor.
To solve it, just re-assign "htm" (and probably "html") with your default
browser.
You can also set or remove file associations in Notepad++: (Main menu) Settings
-> Preferences -> File Association.

Okay - fixed it. Needed to Go into Settings>Preferences>File Association and
move .txt to the "Registered exts" column. Not sure why it had stopped working
in the first place though.

I use the NotePad++ very large and want to propose a new feature to the
application
"Hide&Show group of lines" like Kedit application does. Using the Kedit
application
I can define a condition that force the application show/hide group of lines
(for example: all /static/ command show me all strings that include the "static"
string)
Thank you

The latest version of Notepad++ seems to prevent the NewTabURL add-on for
firefox
( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2221 ) from working.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or know of a workaround (apart from
not using NewTabURL of course!) ?

I second this request. I do use the Explorer option "Find in Files ..." to set
the directory name. But I am getting frustrated having to manually reset the
filters list so many times. In my present project the list I want is "*.php
*.css *.html". Is there any possibility to make a default list configurable
in one of the .xml config files? And not have it change depending on the
currently
open file?
Thanks. Notepad++ is undoubtedly a terrific effort, and I thank you for it.
