What is the 'accelerator' mentioned on the 'save current recorded macro' screen?

A key combination you can use to directly execute the macro, hence the name
accelerator.

I have this problem too, with acrobat reader 8.1.2, and notepad++ 4.8.2.
Disabling all plugins for acrobat solves the problem, and I think the cause
is the accessibility plugin. From what I can tell, it will try to prepare a
document for a screen reader if it thinks one is running.
So, acrobat thinks notepad++ is a screen reader. I don't know why.

I really rely on that feature with pfe and UltraEdit: They can be configured
to collapse to the tray resp. task bar when I close the last window/open file.
Should be easy to implement, as well. What do you say?

Well, would it be possible to make a plugin that could do the work?

Sometimes, I wonder if Sourceforge adding a CAPTCHA or something would help
get rid of these stupid spambots.

How to decrypt this? I encrypted a string of text and now I do not see the
option
to decrypt it.

I would like to use notepad++ as an outliner for my research project. Having
looked through the past posts, it has been suggested to use python language
option as it allows for a tree structure. Unfortunately, I need something a
bit more structured. What I would like is:
1. The ability to have multiple notes (viewable in tabs) in one file.
2. The ability to organize my notes in a hierarchical structure (something
similar
to light explorer in notepad++)
Here is a link to keynote (http://www.tranglos.com/free/keynote_screenshot.html)
which I have used in the past but is no longer developed which might provide
a better example of what I am would like.
Thanks

When I have loaded a file in notepad++ and change the encoding with another
editor while the file is opened in Notepad++, the new encoding wont be detected
(or used) correctly when switching back to N++

I have this problem and reported it and had no response. Importantly, it's not
just copy/paste - even if you type the characters into the 'Find' box and they
show properly, after you press 'Find' they change into questions marks ????
and the Find doesn't work. Making NotePad++ useless for searching non-english
text files.

Since the files in the file history are always displayed with the full path,
the file menu can become veeery big (here 4/5 of the screen at 1024x768); for
example if you work in "Documents and Setttings\Name\My Documents"... and so on
Would it be possible to truncate these names (like in Visual Studio) and/or
moving them into a submenu of the Files menu, like "Recent Files"?
