@1.) I've to correct myself: It works with replaced files. The cycle was a
little
bit to long (I was to impatient). Sorry for the panic!
@2.) Thanks for the clearing. How long is the cycle time? Can I change it
anywhere?
3.) Is it possible to reload only one opened file? - would be create, because
otherwise I've to scroll throw all my sourcefiles, when switched on :(

Perhaps I should open a new thread for that:
a) Is it possible to switch the "reload current file" shortcut to F5 and the
"execute command" therefore to Alt-F2 by default?
-> Will improve usability.

b) How can I set a shortcut to my plugin (ReloadButton) so that everyone can
use it.
I had switched F5 to that locally, but I want to provide everyone with it to
increase usability.

wkr,
JOE

I've only been using notepad++ for a couple of days, so please excuse stupid
questions/issues.

When I upload files written/edited with Notepad++ to my Wordpress based
websites,
the text does not have carriage returns, but rather runs on in one long string.
Wordpress doesn't recognize the theme name in the .css files; and when I try
to edit the .php files through the Wordpress admin screen, I get the following
message: "The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this
server."

As I recall, I didn't have this problem the with the first couple of files,
so I may have inadvertently changed a setting.

I'd appreciate any help--I've made a mess of things.

This would make multi-document find and replace tasks much easier.

Please add this feature. :)

The author, please remove banner about boycott of Olympiad in China!

If you certainly do not work on government of USA.

Remember "democracy" and "freedom" in Nicaragua, Panama, Vietnam, Yugoslavia,
Iraq...

It would be nice that Notepad++ simple copy the indentation from the preceding
line whether it has spaces or tabs in the middle. Just make a copy and it would
solve all the problems.

Hello all,

Glad to see that at least someone agrees with the calc idea, for a minute there
I thought I was the only one. It looks like Mieszko has a function, now we
just need someone who understands the plugin architecture of NP++ to create
one. I was also hoping that the NP++ developers would just add it in to the
code so that they could add it to the main menubar.

Perhaps something under TextFX->TextFX Tools->Calculator Tool. I still think
a blank page in an open tab would be great. You could free-form your
calculations,
as in minipad2, and thus no highlighting of numbers necessary as the calculation
would be run after hitting enter.

Anyway food for thought.

Marc

For those brainwashed by the western media
read this: http://www.geledraak.nl/html/showarticle.asp?id=1585
If you don't speak dutch, you can always use a online translation tool.

Anyway, although mentioned on the project website it's aimed at the Chinese
government I think it will have the opposite effect. The end result will only
that the government will get more support from the Chinese people. If we want
China to have more respect for human rights, it will have to come from the
inside,
the people living there.
So as far I'm concerned a message like 'boycotting Olympics 2008' comes from
people hating China/Chinese people.
I would suggest to go to China, talk with the people, bring their story back
home, put it on the internet, ... and leave the politics out of projects like
this as you don't know the whole story.

No one wants to stop anybody who boycott Olympics 2008. If you come, you are
welcome; if you boycott, nobody cares. Who do you think you are? BTW, NPP is
not that good such that everybody has to use it, understand?

We Americans and mostly Europeans always like to place ourselves in a high moral
ground, and easily forgot aggressions we have imposed on others in last few
centuries. Just take a look at the wars We American have engaged since WWII.
We are at war with one or another every year since WWII without provocations!
If we did not have a reason to attach someone, we fabricate evidences (e.g.,
Vietnam, Iraq). Most Europeans follow American's leads. The number of people
killed in these conflicts are no less than 1M. Now you tell me the human rights
of these people. We like to judge others and pick sides, but how do we justify
our positions on following issues, in one hand we support Tibetans' street
riots,
on the other hands we support Israeli's killing of hundreds of Palestinians

Human rights (and democracy) are something we use only at our convenience. In
todays world I do not see the human rights of people like Iragis, Palestinians,
....

Chinese government is known to suppress the freedom of religion to its own
people
(Tibetans Chinese, Han Chinese). While Han Chinese are more content with their
economical advantage, and Tibetan
Chinese are less educated and thus are economically in a disadvantage position.
If you are seeking freedom of religion you should confront Chinese government,
not place anger over local Chinese. Thus motivation behind the Tibetan riots
are more of economical and political, and their conducts on the streets are
certainly criminal one!

Please remove the Banner, Do not make this a political forum!

I get this bug as well all the time and since I make extensive use of the Find
function I'm going to use a different text editor until this bug is fixed.
