Possible bug? Find dialog box / Clear button no long removes the Marked Line
(yellow highlight to the right of the sequence number).

R U sure?
I can imagine there is no different behavior in the second view. Obviously you
mean to say that with only one document in the second view, you don't suffer
from the switching (back) behavior.

Compose your desired shortcut here instead of the current CTRL+Y.
I see line 17 "SCI_LINESJOIN" is empty.

However, you can join lines after selecting the source lines and pressing CTLR+J
or choosing the option from the Edit menu.
It's not clear to me, though, how to get the Split Lines feature to work. What
should it do? What does it actually do?

My apologies if I used the wrong terminology.
What I mean to say is that if I have two documents open, viewed side-by-side
(i.e. as a result of Right Click on the tab > Go to another view), the hidden
status of any lines, in either document, does not change when switching from
one document to the other. This is in contrast with having two documents open
but viewed only one at a time, in which case the hidden lines are un-hidden
when switching from one document to the other. I find it hard to believe this
is intentional, and I'm tempted to think that the statement "this is intentional
behaviour" is due to confusion as to the nature of the problem.

This one should work.
A XML file (that I've had to rename to .txt so you can look at it) with the
typical format I use is available at:
http://hadoryu.zxq.net/store/Chivalry.txt
If you want to replicate the error, just download and rename to XML, open in
NPP and switch to Python or Lua highlighting.
And yes, I tried an install without plugins. Deleted the plugins dir and
reinstalled.
Tried version 4.5 as well - same thing.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

special chars like ? are having troubles with the new feature of double click
a word to highlight all the same word in the document... if you have word like
computaci?n (computer in spanish) and you double click one of them the other
don't ger highlighted...
