Don and Harry,
I am willing to provide some support, either programming, config file generation
or testing. This will be a very valuable feature to have.

Hi, I'm having trouble with the new XML format used for auto-completion.
What sorting algorithm should be used for the keywords? ATM it looks like
whatever
I do, either the calltips or the function names are not shown properly.
It seems to depend on the sorting, but I'm not sure about this. Nothing I have
tried so far worked as expected.
Any help appreciated. Here's my API file:

Would LOVE!!! this feature (i'm very lazy :) ). Like neotoxic I signed up just
to make a request for this. Found another thread about it
(http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3646120) that suggested that
the scintilla edit component would need to support the feature.
Going over to scintilla request tracker now!!!

in v5 beta. my userDefineLang is out of work. it can not auto detect the lang
type.i must select through menu by myself.
i uninstall v5 and re-install,
and then run it.
and copy only the old userDefineLang.xml file into NP++ folder,
restart np++.
open one file.
the language is "user Defined" but not the needed type.
again and again..
now i must return the old version v4.9.2. it is ok.

Hi, all
Is this possibe in a future version of notepad++ support some popular features
such as
line changes and new lines highlight feature ?
As this would easy to figure out where are added or modified in the document.
Thanks,

Hi,
is there a way to get Notepad++ to search and replace in multiple files at once?

When I code with built-in php functions, is there any way to display the
parameters
or values needed to be passed in the function call - as I'm typing in the
function?
I know that Dreamweaver and some other editors do this...
Thanks,
rkdiekhoff

I'm coding some pages in PHP that use the .do extention instead of PHP. Can
Notepad++ be setup to view these file types as PHP? I attempted to setup a
customized file extension, but did not work.
Thanks,
rkdiekhoff

1. Settings > Styler Configurator...
2. Highlight language "php"
3. In "User ext" type "do"
4. Click "Save & Close"
Works for me in Notepad++ v4.9.2.
