I have the same problem. I use 1280 x 1024. I see complete dialog box, but at
the bottom is about 2 cm of white space - like that something is missing. (i
have 17' monitor)

Hi,
It looks like the crash when editing is some sort of initialization problem?
Try this:
1) Create a new text document, call it "bug.php". Enter the following code:
<?php
echo "<th>hello</th>";
?>
2) Save it.
3) Move the cursor to just before the closing angle bracket of the first th,
ie between "<th" and ">"
4) Press space. NPP crashes instantly with no error message.
This ONLY happens if putting a space in this location is the first thing you
do.
It doesn't happen if you don't save it.
It doesn't happen if, after saving, you type a space at the start of the file
and delete it.
It DOES happen if, after saving, you type a space at the start of the file and
press 'undo'.
I'm using WindowsXP MCE SP3.

Alright when say I create a new file I have to search for the save directory.
When working on a project I alway use the same directory when creating new
files.
How can I save that "last saved directory" so I don't constantly have to keep
starting in notepad++'s default directory to find a directory over and over
and over and over, I'm getting pissed.. its so annoying.

There is bug:
in Notpadd++ v5
html tags highlighter on php files *.php was working fine
but now it does not work in Notpadd++ v5.1

Yes, I confirm this problem as well: 5.0.1 crushes on me when editing HTML tags
within PHP files - simply exists without any signs. Have to revert to older
version until a fix is released.

Dear all,
Since a lot of time, I've defined a new language in Notepad++, to be used in
GLPK (GNU Linear Programming Kit) files, a kind of MathProg language.
Some friends in my university have asked for this language, saying that it's
very useful.
There's some time I'm thinking in make available to all Notepad++ community,
as a native language.
How can I do that?
Suggestion are welcome!
