does it even work?!?!
the shortcut dialog shows various options like comment
block toggle comment ctrl+q
comment uncomment ctrl+k
blah etc
none work when you select the text you want to have commented.. let alone give
you any options as to how'd i'd like commenting done in different formats like
.xml etc
but never actually seen them working
the XMLtools plugin that supposedly has commenting feature just crashes
notepad++

For major upgrades (i.e. 4.x to 5.x) I would suggest an uninstall and install.
This is just my practice, whereas I believe you can perform the upgrade by just
running the installer as Don had commented. Really the uninstall seems to only
be required when you run beta code.

Hi guys
I am having trouble with ftp plugin - it disconnects all the time. There is
keep alive option what doesn't seem to have any effect. Also in the General
tab in the configuration there is "Multiplier to dataconnection keep alive (0
to disable)" this field is not editable. Can't change any value in it.
Anyone can help me?

I just updated to Notepad++ v5.0.3.
I just updated the Function list plugin to the latest v2.0 ALPHA.
Function list does not work at all.
A window pane can be opened that says Function List and that is pretty much it.
All the Function List toolbar icons are disabled.
The language parsing rules dialog does not show any rules for the languages.
The list of languages is there, just no rules.
No functions appear in the function list.
I copied the installation files as below:
C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\Config
FunctionListRules.xml
C++.flb
C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins
FunctionList.dll
Any ideas?

I am having trouble with the QuickText plugin because word completion now uses
the same shortcut (Ctrl+Enter) and I can't seem to get Function parameter
hinting
to work.

Hi
I have a new feature request:
I think the switching of languages in Notepad++ is not very comfortable! I would
like to switch it back to english or to polish in one click AND do NOT copy
and rename a whole language file manualy!
Could it be possible to include a lang-switch-button in the options menu?
I would be also easier for the translators of Notepad++ to test their language
file.

I have tried to locate commands or some help on how to modify the default and
add more choices to the Filter drop down list box in the Find In Files dialog
and have not been successful.
Is there a way to do this? How?
I would like this to always have at least this entry "*.c *.h *.s *.inc"
