I have a NTFS with 64k cluster, not wanting to waste space, i usually keep all
my text files in a zip file. is it possible to mount it in notepad++?
(concept is like foobar able to mount and play mp3 within rar files).

290,816/63,166=4.604 factor

mhmm other uses that i could think of might be accessing archive of applications
log files.
directly accessing source codes files such as NppExec_025_src.zip.
*) workwise
even though zip libraries are commonly available, i guessed it might be
difficult
to integrate directly into the editor. Maybe it could spawn its' life as a
plug-in
first.

Hi guys,
I can't type a EUR symbol in Notepad++.
In all other applications the euro symbol works properly: e.g. I press
CTRL+ALT+4
and get a Euro symbol. If I do the same in Notepad++ I get a different symbol.
By using the hexview plugin in Notepad++ I see that using CTRL+ALT+4 gave me
0xAC (hex) but the hex for the euro symbol is 0x80. If I type 0x80 in hexview,
I do indeed get the euro symbol.
Does anyone have any idea why CTRL+ALT+4, (or ALTGR+4) might give me the wrong
hex value in Notepad++?
I'm running Notepad++ 5.0.3 on Windows xp, and I tried reinstalling it.

At the moment, when you click on help menu, you must connect to notepad++ web
: you only get online help.
I work with a portable PC and often not connected to internet. I highly use
regular expression and sometimes I don't remember some tips.
It would be better integrated help in notepad++ like notepad++.chm
or notepad++.hlp
