Hi!
Whenever I click my desktop shortcut to the notepad++ .exe, I don't get a new
file (like before), but instead the last file I had open appears. This is quite
annoying. Any suggestions to fix this so that a new, empty file appears when
I open the N++ program?

Go to settings->MISC and uncheck 'Remeber session for next launch' or something
like that. You'll start with an empty notepad++
(no option to keep files and show a new doc)

Hi
I found that the possibility of add text clips to notepad++ would be a very
useful update. For repetitive tasks is very important and save time and work.
Notepad programmer's have text clips for code, PsPad also have text clips, and
I think may be notepad++ also must have this possibility.

Sometimes that drives me mad too, I'd just kill someone over a bug report they
post in some VERY broken english when they don't even specify what version are
they using while you can barely understand what they write about.

While editing a file, the application crashed with a message box that said:
Win32 Exception
An exception occured. Notepad++ cannot recover and must be shut down. The
exception details are as follows:
Code: 0xC0000005
Type: Access violation
Exception address: 0x004015D6
I'm running 5.0.3.
