Is there a stand-alone version of the compare plug-in (it truly is better than
anything else I've found) and I would like to be able to programatically invoke
a compare using it? Or; what would it take to make it stand-alone?

Just wondering when we might expect a Unicode version for Notepad++ 5.1? Till

An old bug is back again. After selecting one or more rows and delete it with
Ctrl+X, the cursor jumps two or seven rows up. Sea also the old topic:

The workaround posted there (de-activate "+Viz Capture Keyboard Ctrl-C,X,V"
in the "TextFX Viz Settings" menu) doesn't work. I had to delete the
NPPTextFX.dll
file to get rid of this annoying bug. Any other solution?

Hi Don, the first bug, also I hope last.))))
The text of the program is incorrectly displayed.
But on 5.0.3 it works 100 %.
I have noticed this problem still in BETA 5.1, but have thought, that you know
and will correct.
Similar problem and in the Ukranian language, I do not know other languages!)))
If a file nativeLang.xml to clean, the program becomes in ENGLISH (normal
English,
without BUGs).
If it is possible, make HOTFIX

I may be wrong at that point, but the unicode Notepad++ brakes custom lexer:
GetLexerName requires Widechar, but Scintilla still uses Char.
So you will get those lexer in Notepad++, but they don't work.

Hi,
Uninstalled notepad++, deleted the program files and application data
directories,
then reinstalled using the latest 5.1 installer.
Installed using the options:
no Use appdata
yes Context menu entry
yes autocompletion
yes plugins
no html viewer
no auto updater
I'm running Windows XP English version with legacy characterset (Language for
non-Unicode programs) as Japanese. UI settings are English (Australia).
Problems I can see:
1.
In the installer, the dropdown box shows either "Custom" or "o". "o" selects
nothing.
2.
If I run the installer again, it doesn't remember the options that I used last
time. In this case it checks auto updater again even though it was installed
without it last time.
3.
I have selected to not use appdata but a directory is created there anyway with
plugins config. The plugins also should respect that option.
4.
The style configurator shows chinese characters for the default settings:

5.
No settings are saved. I change settings for the global override in this dialog
and save, but nothing is saved. No files are modified in either the program
files or appdata directories.
