Im having the same problem too. Has anybody got a work around for this as i

Sure, install more RAM, 8GB preferably :).
Scintilla consumes a lot of memory during opening of very large files, and
currently
there is no real support for those files. So you just have to be lucky it can
handle it. Some people can open larger files than others, there is no hard
limit.

In the future release, only Unicode version will be included in installer. The
reasons are :
1. Distributed binary is smaller
2. Easier to maintain installer package

There is a problem with the "Find in files" feature:
It's impossible to press the Stop searching button because the focus is always
on the find result window (I mean it's impossible to move the mouse over the
dialog box)
This happen with the ANSI version (I didn't try the UNICODE version)
