Open a folder, open a document and the Notepad++ window stays behind the folder!
It should come up in forground, isn?t it?

By "options" I meant program settings. The API files are in <n++>\plugins\APIs.

yes, it is exactly what i'm looking for. why is it not compatible with version
5.1.1 though? the last version of notepad++ i had was version 4.5. when i
upgraded
directly to 5.1.1 by installing over my old directory, a lot of plugins were
removed. this window manager plugin also seems to be incompatible, and it
offered
to remove it from the plugins directory for me to prevent the message from
appearing
again. the only plugins i have left in version 5.1.1 (UNICODE) are:
Document Monitor
FTP_synchronize
MIME Tools
NppAutoIndent
NppExport
NppNetNote
is this normal? also, what is meant by "UNICODE"? did i accidentally get a
special
version of notepad++? and why is window manager plugin not compatible?

oh yea, if it helps, notepad++ told me the plugin was ANSI and the version of
notepad++ i had was UNICODE. this seems to be why they are incompatible, but
i don't know what this means.

The easiest way is to install the ANSI version and not the UNICODE version of
NPP 5.1.1.
To do this you can not use the installer. You must use the .zip file with the
binary and copy the ANSI version to your program folder.

I updated the Delphi plugin template for UNICODE and ANSI usage. The readme
file outlines other changes like cleaner Func Item setup and updated NPPM
constats.
Thanks to vor0nwe, for the nice hint.

When editing php files and I bring up Find all I see is one line in the GUI.
Will there ever be an expanded find like Cute FTP so, you can edit more than
