Last version do not print Russian Letters in main window.
How to fix:
Problem lies in module Hex Editor.
Just delete HexEditor.dll from /plugins/ directory.

You can run the Quicktext with the Notepad++ 5.1.1 (ANSI) available in the ZIP
package. I couldn't find a way to install the ANSI version from the installer,
but the zip version works perfect. The only thing I missed for while is that
my %APPDATA/Notepad++% configuration wasn't working anymore, but the program
is using the configurations at %PROGRAMFILES%/Notepad++ instead.

Wow, It really happened! My Notepad++ isn't using %APPDATA%/Notepad++ folder
anymore, it's now using %PROGRAMFILES%/Notepad++. I think it happened when I
updated to the zip version of Notepad++ 5.1.1 (ANSI). I'm now using it because
I need QuickText to be productive.

Is there a way to change the Type description in Win Explorer to something
different
for each type - as is normal in windows? I've tried Tools->Folder options->File
types, but it seems to change all notepad++ linked file. The issue I have is
that I can no longer distinguish between h and c files by sorting by type.

Hello Jens, thanks for your update. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I
can't get Explorer to work. I have a new fresh install of Notepad++ 5.1.1 and
I copied the Explorer.dll file to the plugins folder.
When I go to run Explorer, I get a Win32 Exception
Code: 0xC0000005
Type: access violation
Exception Adress: 0x003C047A
I am running Windows XP x64 edition here, maybe that is the problem?

I'd really like if notepad++ would minimize after I close the last open file.
UltraEdit has that feature, and it saved a lot of my time... actually the last
reason, why I stick with UE. Shouldn't be hard to do, either.
