Hello,
I have installed notepad++ 5.1.1 in my windows xp (x64) system. It works well
there. However, i cannot find the explorer context menu entry. I try to use
the tools provided on the website for 64 bits system. But when I used the .bat
file to register this .dll file, it showed "LoadLibrary("nppcm.dll") failed
- This application has failed to start because the application configuration
is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem".
So what shall I do? Any other way to add notepad++ to right click menu??

How many files are you talking about ?
You can start Notepad++ using a dos command that will find all *.txt files or
other types of files and put them inside Notepad++. Then you can issue the
command
to S&R in all open files in the editor.
Of course if there are 1000s of files you're probably going to crash Notepad++.
So it will depend on the # of files you're dealing with and their extensions.
If you have too many, then it's probably easier to work with a VBScript that
can take each file, make the edits and re-save them. I've done that with 100s
of .html files to remove unwanted IMGs or A tags.

You probably need the 2005 C++runtimes, since it was compiled with the 2005
edition of visual studio.
Anyway, the installer should do it all for you.

Under Vista SP1, Notepad++ 5.1.1 is storring the Config XML Files under
"c:\Users\Username\appdata\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Notepad++".
Shouldn't
it be on "c:\Users\Username\appdata\Roaming\Notepad++"?

Also, it crashes even when there is no file opened, and Firewall and anti-virus
