with the hex view by default withouth manually switching with ctrl+alt+sh+H?
Thanks

Hello,
I have two questions about the API for PHP:
First: Is it right that the API files for autocompletion and showing of
parameters
of built-in function of PHP isn't completed yet??? There are still functions
like explode() without any parameter-definitions!!!
Second: Would it be possible to exclude showing function when I start typing
in a variable name?
I mean: I start typing "$a" but functions with "a" at the beginning, like
addslashes() are shown ...:
http://img145.imageshack.us/my.php?image=zwischenablage02dc5.jpg
But would it be possible to include default variables and constants into the
definition file and display them when starzing to type? I mean to display all
the possible array-keys with explanations, when I type e.g.:
$_SESSION['
because $_SESSION is a built-in array in PHP!
thanks so far!

Thanks for pointing me out the search function, it saved me and the community
several posts :)
By the way, I found some posts about completion, but found none about WHY you
can choose one or another between functions and words.
Thx

Mmmmm... I Must admit I'm not the smartest man on the earth, but it seems that
FAQs refer to a different version of npp than the actual.
No one of the indicated files, and even any one of the others, contain a single
byte of my definitions. Copying them to an fresh install machine also does not
transport anything while on my laptop I see fancy colored files.
I'm trying to define Cisco ASA/PIX, and I would like to share my work...

Hi!
It seems to me that *for now* it's not possible to activate both word AND
function
auto completion. I really hope that this will be possible in further versions
of NP++, as I am using this editor every day for programming PHP websites.
@Don: Is this possible? Having auto completion for words and functions at the
same time? Would be a great feature... :-)
Greetings
Dominik

Downloaded this from FileHippo.com initially and got a message from NOD32 saying
it had found "Win32/Adware.Cinmus application" in the exe. Then I tried
downloading
from Sourceforge and got the same error. Anyone else getting this or is my copy
of NOD32 giving me a false positive?

I am getting this same error from my anti-virus software, which says it is
adware.
I've used other versions of Notepad++ and never had this error before. I won't
be downloading Notepad++ until this problem is resolved.

Thanks Don
What is the 'tidy' file in 'unicode\plugins\Config\'?
It has no extension and looks odd, .dll code and text?
In 'ansi\plugins\Config\' 'tidy' is a folder and a duplicate of 'NPPTextFX'.
Is it right that 'NPPTExtFX' is now in 'plugins/config' folder - it used to
be in 'plugins'.
Mark
