If you are trying to isolate a section of code or tags (XML) as in my case,
you can copy the selection you need to paste.
Go to 'TextFX'
Go to 'TextFX VIZ'
Select Hide lines without clipboard text
This will display only the highlighted text.
Then select all, copy, and paste to another file or application.
Hope this helps.
BTW, I'm using v5.0.3 so I'm not sure if your version works the same.

The R statistical language uses the two characters combination <- to indicate
assignment.
How to define them as a single operator that can be colored?
Do not work if I define a keyword <-

Hello!
is there a way to make notepad++ automatically underline links and make them
clickable?
Example:
http://www.editpadpro.com/screens/editpadlite.png
I used editpadlite and now switched to notepad++ and this is one feature that
I miss.

In the next Npp release you can just select the text that you want, copy using
Ctrl+C, and paste to a new document as usual.

Sorry, I must have uploaded the wrong file. I recompiled it and reuploaded it,
and now it should be 5.1.4
Also, do not immediately assume that if the release version doesn't crash, the
bug isn't there :) The debug versions performs way more checks on the memory,
so errors are more likely to be catched.

3 ways to make Notepad++ Portable:
1) Download the .exe installer and when installing, select your USB Drive and
in the Install Options part, check the box Don't use %APPDATA - Recommended
2) Use the Portable-apps.org edition - Not Recommended
3) Use Mojopac or U3 if you want a full suite of software apps - Recommend
Mojopac.

Don, external Lexer creators, and users;
I just posted a fix for Session loading to correctly apply external lexer
languages
when more than one external language is available. Since language selection
is such a nuisance when reloading sessions is there a chance this could get
into the next release?
Other external lexer users, please ask for it too... it would be good. :P
