Hi, guys
I often open the same file with notepad++ and another program. When the file
is modified by another, I like to get a reloading hint by notepad++. In v5.2,
the default setting for "File Status Auto-detection" is checking those all,
so I change to check "Enable" only. But the change persist only until the
application
is closed, they are promptly forgotten next time Notepad++ is launched.
I hope the Notepad++ development team will investigate and fix this issue.

I am using Notepad++ v5.2 on Windows XP Professional, SP3(32-bit), logging in
as Administrator(not Super-Administrator).

Indeed, "script" is keyword of html, and both xml and html files use the same
lexer.

Make sure you are using UTF-8 without BOM encoding. You can preview suspected
files in hexeditor, probably they have 3 custom chars on the beginning (BOM
marker). So you should use Format->Convert to UTF-8 without BOM on them.
