To be more correct: each individual message in the "root" of the thread is moved
down when it gets its first reply (and perhaps by any later reply directly to
that message). Each reply in the sub-thread doesn't move the sub-thread itself
down, but I guess the same thing happens for each individual or nested message
/ sub-thread in the sub-thread.

Hi,
Can we trick Notepad++ able to open huge text files (>300MB)? I need to edit
parts of the file. So far Notepad++ complained that it's too big to load. What
I did was using grep / sed in Cygwin console to locate the line(s) I want to
edit and then stich them back in.
If there's no way to do it directly, can it be a feature for the next version?
Maybe having a partial buffer (i.e. the file is loaded partially) with undo
disabled. Thanks. :)

AirDrik, Normally that would be a good solution BUT, the regular expression
processor in Npp, by way of Scintilla, does not support the zero or one
repetition
operator (?).
I'm afraid we're stuck at the moment until the Scintilla project addresses
improvements.

Hi,
Just upgraded to NPP 5.2 and having a play with NppExport (0.2.8) but I seem
unable to copy anything to the clipboard. Whenever I select the option "Copy
XXX to clipboard" it just empties my clipboard (ie. nothing to paste)!
The options "Export to XXX" work OK.
I've not used this plugin before, so I realise I may not being doing it
correctly,
so what is the correct procedure for this to work?
Thanks.

I like the new icon design and the idea.
But I don't really like the colors, no offense please.

Over the last year or more since I've been using Notepad++, I have come accross
a few threads requesting that some language "foo" be added.
I work for a company that has a few inhouse languages that would never
get implemented and the user defined capabilites were just not enough to get
the job done as well as say Vim could using Regex's
I have written a few scintilla lexers that build into Scintilla with little
effort, and getting them to work nativly in Notepad++ is also quite easy.
Depending on the interest of the community I could provide the set of files
in a boiler plate fashion that could be extended to meet anyones lexer needs.
I've never had a conflict when merging official release code with this set of
files that I maintain.
I should also mention that Notepad++ only supports 5 of the available 8 custom
keywod lists that Scintilla provides. Adding this support is only about 10
lines of code.

To add. I am interested in any information that the community might have on
how Regular expressions can be achieved if at all in Scintilla. Such capability
would allow my lexers to be much more powerful by adding syntax checking
capabilities.
