I assumed your comment mark is "--". On the User Defined Languages panel,
Comment
tab, check the "Treat keyword as symbol" checkbox. If that doesn't work, please
post again.

Why don't you break it into smaller lists?
I there is a limit, it is hardcoded into Scintilla's code. For obvious reasons,
there is no desire to distribute a modified Scintilla component, although there
would be quite a few other, even better reasons for that.

There are style settings in Notepad++ for each language and for MS-DOS too.
Selecting this "language" changes codepage, but it doesn't work on russian
language.
Solution is: for any other language (I selected NSIS) select font "Terminal"
as a font style. It will correctly display DOS char set for russian language.
Dunno, if it will work for others, but it definitely works for me.
Proposition for developers:
1. Make possible to change font for "MS-DOS style" or make a style with only
"DEFAULT" style, without "FUNCTION", "VARIABLE" etc. Or is it possible to make
it by myself?
2. Possibility to assign shortcuts for different languages.

Isn't hitting Ctrl-End when the document is active applicable?

You've got a very nice editor here, but the web-page
( http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm ) is very bad. If you have
Javascript turned off it's all over the place. Why? Javascript isn't for
formatting,
CSS is.
Similarly, if you have a screen wider than what, 1024 pixels?, you get a
scroll-bar
in the middle of the screen, rather than on the right, and you can only use
your scroll wheel when you mouse is over a certain invisible line.
Just figured some feedback may be helpful.

Little batch file, maybe?
np_open_last.bat:
notepad++.exe -n99999999 %*
And have your out file use your batch file to open.
However, I'm not sure you can associate batch files to open file...

I went through and spent some time styling all of the colors for the various
languages in the Style Configurator. I set them to have a black background
as it is much easier on the eyes starring at the monitor all day.
When it is all said and done, I go back to the code and notice that the current
line I am working changes to a white background. Because I set all of the text
to light and bright colors (including white), I can not see the text that I
am working on!
I then went to the 'Global Styles' and hunted down 'Current line background'
and its foreground color is grayed out!?? Why can I change almost everything
else but this one is disabled? I can easily read the entire document, except
for the line I am currently working on...
My question is, where do I change the color of the current line so that it does
not block out all my bright text colors?

Hello, i would like the option to open new instances of n++ when i open a doc.
I'd rather have multiple n++ open than all my docs in one, on tabs, although
sometimes tabs would be very helpfull.
if i've missed this option in the preferences, or missed the search function
in the Help, or the search for this forum, my appologies. Do i need another
cup of coffee?
thanks,
juglesh
