Sure a software making the earth greener is a cute little number for me and
I thought it's obvious for everyone.
"reducing CPU power consumption and reducing the world carbon dioxide emissions"
is to make point of Notepad++'s intention to be efficient and fast.
Personally, I think it's better than a conventional project's description.
BTW, anyone has slogan to link Notepad++ with organic movement (since organic
food is "? la mode" for the moment)?

I've a simple question , How can I compile Notepad++ ? :)
I've downloaded the source code , and want to compile it .
I've Borland C++ compiler , and Dev ++
I need to copile it in any operating Sys [ Win Xp , 7 , Ubuntu , Open Solaris
]
So please , I want the steps that I need to do to compile it

Ah, I see. Then it would be quite limited in those respects. A lot of MediaWiki
markup is just grouping of different characters (e.g. {{ }} -- templates, '''
''' -- bold). I don't believe it'd be possible then (on the current limits).
I came up with "mwf" off the top of my head really; it's not a standard. :)

Notepad++ comes with *Brace and Indent guideline Highlighting* feature.
it would be quite handy if Single & Double Quotes are also Highlighted in pairs
like (,{ or [
while coding PHP or JavaScript, i often find it difficult to tracking open
quotes,
matching them, closing them.

Hi Dave,
This is a very useful plugin for me.
I downloaded the source and made it so the listview selected row is darker in
color. I did this by setting the focus to the listview then skipping
WM_KILLFOCUS
so the row won't be redrawn with the unfocused color.
Some code may be easier to understand:
SwitchDialog::doDialog() {
..
::SetFocus(_hListView); //draws selected row with dark blue (win default)
::SetFocus(_hEditbox);
...
}
listProc() {
...
case WM_KILLFOCUS:
return true; //catch KILLFOCUS message so the selected row stays dark blue
...
}
Also have one request: Is it possible to replace the document switcher that
shows when you hold right click+scroll?

Brilliant! I was taking deep breaths preparing for an owner-draw to get it
to do this. I'll get a new version on the npp-plugins project out with this
included.
As for the right-click scroll, (a feature I never knew about!), it sounds like
you're in a better position than me to tell! I don't know, I'll have a look
how it's launched, and how tightly integrated it is to N++.
Thanks so much for this - I'm sorry if the code's a bit clunky, this is my first
proper attempt at C++ for 15 years, and doing C# all day rots the brain.

CCompletion 1.11 UNICODE for Notepad++ v5.3.1 UNICODE
New in 1.11:
- project paths must now be prefixed with "&" to parse recursively
- added C prototypes handling
- fixed Ctags.tmp deletition
I have made it so that paths still may not overlap, but will take recursive
parsing into consideration. So project paths "c:\dir1" and "&c:\dir1\dir2" do
not overlap, since the first path is not marked for recursive parsing.
Install the plugin by copying its .DLL file to Notepad++ \plugins\ directory.
You will also need to add in this directory the ctags.exe file, which you can
get here:
