The "Find dialog" problem is resolving by disabling "transparency" checkbox

Sorry to be bringing bad news, but I've hit a little bump with the latest
version:
with NPP 5.4 UNI on WInXP Pro SP3 I have Notepad++ hanging at launchtime when
both FunctionList 2.0 beta and GmodLua.dll (the Lua syntax highlighter plugin)
are in the plugin folder. FunctionList 1.2 doesn't have this problem.

Hi there, i've just downloaded and installed N++ under XP SP?.
It look like a very good software for text editing.
I just need an information.
Is possible to set the max characters for a single line? (row) I've always used
MS-DOS EDIT cuz with that old software, i could set the Binary File mode and
max row long.
How i can do the same with N++?
It will help me a lot :)

There's a typo in the settings menu: "Styler Configurator" was mistyped, I think

When editing a file on a disk different from the disk NPP is installed on, using
"Run" > "Open current dir cmd" doesn't work properly. I'm assuming the program
does something along the lines of opening a cmd and then sending a "cd
%directory_of_file%" command, but that does not work properly when the file
is on another disk. I'm assuming it's the way the program does it, because when
I enter the disk letter (for example, "D:\"), the directory ?s set to the right
directory.

How about using session files?
Open the files that relate to a single page in NP++, make sure you set the
editor
to remember current session, and then use File -> Save session. Saving the file
with a path that relate to your web page could be a good idea.
Now, when you want to work on that page, simply use File -> Load session to
reload sesion file and have the files opened.
And since you can have two views, and sessions remember both views, you can
mix and match according to your needs, at least for the most part.
