Hi,
this may be a totally stupid question, but doesn't Notepad++ have a "Most Recent
Used" file list?
Most editors have one on the File menu, but I cannot find it in Notepad++!

Editing of the built-in lexers - while possible - isn't recommended as it
requires
editing the scintilla (np++'s editor component) lexer code, and there isn't
currently any way to change it 'on the fly' using custom rules (which of course
would be a really nice feature for the scintilla developers to add).
You can try creating a User Define Language, though I don't know how close that
can get you to the real xml definition using the UDL.

Creating the FunctionListRules.xml file for my ASP development has been an
exercise
in misery; equally so, getting it to work. I am now at a point where I no
longer
see the dreaded "No Rules.." message...instead, I now see "Function List - 100%"
-- but I don't see any Functions or Subroutines.
For grins, I exited v5.42, and started the ANSI version of v5.1.4. This version
successfully shows Functions and Subroutines.
I then saved v5.42's FunctionListRules.xml file, and copied over v5.1.4's ANSI
file of the same name. I then started v5.42: NO LUCK.
At this point, I'm ready to rip my hair out (and I'm already going bald!) --
can anyone supply links to directions (use words of 1/2 syllable!) and
screenshots
to document how I can get this very useful plugin working?
Thanks very much!

Has someone already made a highlighting for CNC G-code?
How would I figure this out I have been looking around and I thought I posted
to this forum but I guess that was the plugins forum???
As a side note I must say I love sourceforge and all of the things it has let
me do over the years but I have never liked the layout of any of it. Its just
to easy for someone stupid and slow in thought, like me, to get lost and
confused.

To: [email protected]

Hi there,
I'm using N++ a lot. It's the best editor for win I've ever used.
Unfortunately I've got some problems with the silent installation of the
newer
versions...
I'm using the command "npp.5.4.2.Installer.exe /S" but at the end
of the installation process a litte dialog appears ("Due to the problem of
compability with this version, ComparePlugin.dll...") and prevents the
silent
installation to finish successfully in a silent way.
Am I missing a commandline switch or is this a bug?
Regards,
Ben Hartmann

Hello!
I would like to know if there is some kind of projects-extension available or
planned.
The Explorer-Plugin is a little long-winded. Just a tree-view would be much
better for me; to click through the project files instead of double-clicking
each folder to go into it and see its content.
Thanks anyway!

any xml file with a <script> tag loses it colorization and [+] buttons inside
those blocks
it has been logged in the bug database for years, so it must not be important
enough to fix
has anyone found a work-around... is there anything in the settings or style
configurator that might prevent this?
Paul
