I just got a error and the notepad++ crashed.....
After saying the notepad++ is crashed, it pops many time of the following

Does Notepad++ also make the UTF-8 BOM (Byte-Order Mark), like Windows Notepad?
Windows Notepad is causing this funny characters "???" on our website.
We use Notepad++ as the standard Notepad and want to be sure if it also makes
a UTF-8 BOM (Byte-Order Mark).

Hi, thanks for the reply.
At first, I thought so too, but these are folders not files we're speaking of,
and looking at the Folder Options->File Types entry, I see an 'open' action.
Seems fine.
Ah well if no one can second the bug, must be my systems issue, thanks anyway.

It should be very powerful to have find / replace / regexp features like
EditPadPro.
I mean: multiline searches, effective regexps (that should use the Perl syntax),
possibility to set quantifiers as greedy or lazy, incremental search by default.

I've just noticed that if you use the Compare plugin to compare 2 files, the
lines with differences are marked as changed, in yellow, and when you clear
the Compare results, the yellow markers stay, though N++ correctly recognizes
the file as unchanged (tab is grey and not red).

I'm used that the search in files is threaded from EmEditor.
Hope it would be possible to do so also in Notepad++
Cause at the moment the whole Notepad++ process gets blocked by a search in
files.
