I am not sure that the Plugin Dev forum is the best area. Open discussion looks
better, and it will be superseded by IdeaTorrent. That could explain.
As for the idea proper:
1/ Implemented in TextFX Quick -> Find/Replace (Ctrl+R)
2/ The issue of search in files being a blocking transaction has been reported
more than once. If you have a roadmap on how to go about it, again IdeaTorrent
seems to be the best place
3/ Same. If a separate thread is ploughing through the files, it can write the
Search results window as it goes
4/ You will decide :-)
CChris

I could not even read your message, let alone answer it. Too many mistakes and
stupid abbreviations (like "u" instead of "you"). If you don't have the time
to formulate your request properly, then I don't have the time to answer it.

Wow, is this a NEW idea?
If you are just re-posting questions and requests that have already been done
way before you wise insights, why would you wine for an answer?
First thing you could do is try to find it yourself!

Well, what exactly is it that you want?
Do you want to swap the titles and the year numbers?
[I guess not.]
Do you want the list to be sorted just in reverse, "keeping" the unsorted
property
of it, the only effect being the titles are listed the other way around.
For both actions you could find solutions when searching these forums.
For the second action you could specifically sort for line number(s).

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to reopen last opened file with a custom
shortcut, without having to use the 'Recent file' menu.
It is possible ?
Thx in advance

There are at least two ways:
1/ If you are sure all there is to do is reverting the list, then you can:
add line numbers
sort descending on the numbers
delete line numbres
All those are commands from TextFX tools.
2/ If your titles don't haveparentheses or double spaces, you can do this, which
will work with undorted titles (I assume you wish to sort by year):
cut a '(' to clipboard
line up lines by (Cliboard) character
select rectangle with all the years, now lined up
sort descending
select all and replace __ by _ in all selection.

Yes, although not reliably.
If you record a macro that goes to File menu and picks up one of the recent
files, say the 3rd, then you can assign it a shortcut and save it. No problem.
A few days and many uses of N++ later you execute the macro. It will open the
3rd file on the recent file list, no matter what.
Not sure if that is what you want, but that's all I can come up with.

Indeed I can reproduce this bug (under a Chinese xp, use v5.4.3 Unicode version,
and text is set as UTF8).
Obviously there's a regression in Scintilla 1.77, which is included in v5.4.x.
I tested Scintilla 1.78, It seems this bug is fixed in this version.
v5.4.4 will be released in one week, this version contains the bug fix.
