are not working with ver 5.4.4.

CChris and others this sounds like another explanation exactly like this one
infinite loop after save -- I have the same symptoms less frequently
I have a feeling this is a similar explanation of what may be the same error.
Samba - Hanging NP++.
Is there a way to generate a dump or other output when this occurs in Windows
XP to assist the debugging of the issue?

The JScript server-side code on my ASP pages does not contain any syntax
highlighting.
Is there anyway of fixing this??
If this could be fixed Notepad ++ could become my perferred editor.

Tried what you said. But, not work. It just became worse. The Horizontal
scrollbar
do not auto resize, I need to use right arrow to get the scrollbar change for
the long line.
What I said about the previous version of Notepad++ that got the behavior I
want is, it will shrink and expand the horizontal scrollbar according to the
current displayed lines. But the current version only shrink the with of the
scrollbar.

This was happening with 5.4.3 and when I upgraded to 5.4.4 it persisted. I did
a search on my hd and couldn't find the .dmp file, where should it be located?

The newest versions of Notepadd++ seem to become less stable. While the earlier
versions never crashed, this becomes more and more common with the newer
versions.
Although the backup-functionality is working well, I would like to mention this
problem at this forum.

2/ The "Mark line" option, as well as "Style found token", work only with the
