AFAIK, Light Explorer has no official Unicode version.
What happen if you remove Light Explorer plugin?

Thanks for the clarification Chris.
Yes, I do you use TextFX to some, but I do alot of cut and paste from Word to
web form, and the formatting is helpfully pasted along with text, so I end up
cutting to NPP, converting quotes and getting rid of other stuff, then pasting
into the form.
since I do the same thing all the time, I was hoping for a one button solution.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I can't get the User Defined
Language
feature to work in 5.4.4. I open a file, select User Defined from the Language
menu, and open the User Define dialog, but changes I make there aren't reflected
in the open document. If I save my definition, the XML file appears in %appdata%
and the new language is on the menu, but selecting it does not apply
highlighting
to the file.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron.

AFAIK, ASP and javascript are parsed by the exact same parser.

I am using notepad version v5.4.3 (UNICODE).
The plugins I am using are:
docMonitor.dll
FTP_synchronize.dll
mimeTools.dll
NppExec.dll
NppExport.dll
NppNetNote.dll
NppPlugin_ChangeMarker.dll
NppTextFX.dll
SpellChecker.dll
libTidy.dll (seperate directory within plugins\Config)
So I am not using the dll's HexEditor.dll,LightExplorer.dll, and
MultiClipboard.dll at all.
For me it is hard to reproduce the crash, but I have a dump-file (NppDump.dmp).
I understand that I can send it to donho, but which mail-address can I use.

Hi all, this is Pierre from Belgium. Notepad++ is a great tool but I have some
remarks.
I am French-speaking and in French, there are a lot of accents. No problem for
NP++ except in "The found results window".
Let's assume you have the following sentence in a file
Je suis un homme. Je suis un homme ?l?gant. Je suis un homme g?t?. Je suis
un homme.
Now, press CTRL+F and search for all occurences of the word "homme". This gives
the following strange result
http://pgriffet.site.voila.fr/Nplus1.jpg
As you can see, the first and the second "homme" are marked yellow in the
correct
way. But the third and the fourth ones are shifted ! Actually, the key is the
accent. As soon as you have an accent *before" the word you search, there is
a shift of the yellow mark, to the left.
Another strange thing in this window is the way circumflex accent are shown.
Take a look here
http://pgriffet.site.voila.fr/Nplus2.jpg
The word "g?t?" of my sentence is now "g???" ! the "t" is a "?" !
Other letters with circumflex accent are also modified in a very strange way.
Now, suggestions for "The found results window"
Should it be possible to have a shortcut to close it ? CTRL+F4 or something
so. I HATE using the mouse and I'm forced to used it when I want to close this
window.
And for whatever reason, when you close the window, the cursor is "nowhere".
You have to click in the text window or press F8 to have the focus !
Last thing, I'm looking for a shortcut to go to next line, I mean after the
next CR/LF. There are many shortcuts but even in Scintilla, there is no way
to go to the next line. In other editors or MS Word, CTRL+UP or CTRL+DOWN do
the trick. Am I missing something ?
I run N++ 5.3.1 on Windows XP SP1
Thanks for reading me.

I don't see how to do that. Post a request on IdeaTorent. I'd add the ability
to run a macro on opening a file as well (that would be stored in session file).
