Another day and version 5.3 does not appear to have the problem however it
has a replace bug that was reported as fixed in 5.3.1 so I would not recommend
it as a preferred alternative to 5.4.3 or beyond.
I did see Mike in the prior post is having success with 5.4.1 (which many may
choose to follow) however since there are so few versions to test to get to
5.4.1 I intend to continue with my one version a day testing.

I:Date && Time - short format (Ctrl+F5) dosen't work any more in v5.4.4, even
it is defined in Shortcut mapper -> Plugin commands.
It works till v5.4.3.
I've tryed to set other shortcuts to I:Date && Time - short format, no success.

Maybe your shortcut is overwritten by another one, as double defs are allowed.
Apart from that I had faced shortcut problems too. Some ini-files seem to have
been moved from to %APPDATA% (Windows) (or have Idone a wrong choice during
installation?). So the shortcuts.xml used is now in %APPDATA%/notepad++ instead
of program dir.

This is the first release of Plugin Manager, which I'm calling 0.8.
This plugin essentially allows you to install and update all the existing
plugins,
right from inside Notepad++. It will notify you when a plugin you use has been
updated, and allow you to update it, simply by clicking the "update" button.
It has a centrally located list of plugins, which will be kept up to date.
Features:
- Install, Update and Remove all existing plugins
- Notify when an installed plugin has an update available, and allow the user
to update directly
- Calculate dependencies between plugins, any plugin can depend on another
plugin,
which will be installed automatically if the user installs the initial plugin
- Install all supplemental files as well as the plugin file itself (e.g. config,
doc, extra libraries)
- Automatic installation of the correct version (ANSI/Unicode) for your
Notepad++
- Validation of DLLs copied, against a central list of valid files. This
slightly
mitigates the risk of automatically downloading updates.
- Only plugins that are compatible with your Notepad++ are shown
- Plugins can be put into categories - a suggestion was made of "Official,
Common
and Others". Currently all plugins are in the "Others" category, as I think
there needs to be some agreement as to what determines an "Official" plugin
and which plugins are "Common".
- Plugin Manager is able to update itself, and will notify the user when an
update is available
- Proxies are supported, just change the setting
- Updates can be ignored, and the user will not be alerted to that update again,
until a further new version of that plugin is released.
- The local plugin list file is only downloaded when something has changed -
the MD5sum of the file is compared to the server's version, and if it is
different,
then a new copy is downloaded.

Just put the PluginManager.dll in the plugins directory, and the gpup.exe in
the updater directory under your Notepad++ program directory (e.g. C:\Program
Files\Notepad++\updater)

The primary aim of this plugin is to make it easy to install and update plugins,
but also to give more exposure to plugins that sometimes don't make it past
the forums.

I have a pile (3000+) of IP address and usernames in a list with the IP address
and then username on each line which I have managed to extract from other forum
data using regular expression replace in Notepad++. I have sorted them and I
want to search for and either highlight or mark any that have the same IP
number.
So I want to find any duplicate IP addresses in the list and mark them in some
way so they can be easily searched for.
Can Notepad++ do this and if so how?
