Hello zephan
I have no idea who closed your bug or what was the motivation behind it.
However, I can tell you that you can edit the keywords recognized by PHP by
going to:
Menu > Settings > Styler Configurator...
Int the anguage list, select 'php' and select 'WORD' in the Style one.
You'll see a "User Defined keywords" box. you can add all the keywords of your
liking in there.

the PHP langauge that NP++ doesn't seem to handle.

that the issue was closed.

OK, looks like I finally have a success with it. The directory/file name
auto-completion have been implemented as a separate class with forward (Tab)
and backward (Shift+Tab) searching directions. Also I've implemented backward
(Shift+Tab) listing of Console's command and variables. The last thing required
more time as its implementation is one of the worsest in the plugin :) However,
the final code does not look very terrible ;)

Being in the work, the forum has its normal share of little glitches. Most are
benign, but one is really annoying, in IE6 at least (please don't start the
usual useless rants about replacing IE6 with "modern" browsers):
On each thread page (as
https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=331753&thread_id=3332020 this
one), the https://s.fsdn.com/sf/images/develop/icons/post.png background image
is misplaced, and unduly X- and Y-repeated all over the header of each message,
rendering the whole message header almost unreadable.
The cause can be traced to the "global.css" file, lines 73-75:
.forum {
BACKGROUND-IMAGE: url(https://s.fsdn.com/sf/images/develop/icons/post.png)
}
which could be rewritten as:
.forum {PADDING: 0 0 0 30px;
BACKGROUND: url(https://s.fsdn.com/sf/images/develop/icons/post.png) no-repeat
0px 4px
}
I don't know why, but Safari doesn't render that background image at all, thus
makes the page pretty and readable.

Setttings -> Styler Configurator -> Global styles, Selected text colour. Change
background as you see fit in each theme file you use.
There is a way to make this background translucent, but it involves a synthetic
macro.
