There are cases when I switch to a tab by clicking it, it instead close that
tab and launches it to a separate window. I'm pretty sure I am not dragging it.
Anyways, I'd like to disable this feature (so irritating). Anyways I can do
this? I'd been looking into the preference and couldn't see similar named
settings.
Searched also the forums and couldn't find similar issue/topic.

I am running NotePad++ v5.4.5 (UNICODE) on 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate and have
two problems.
Firstly, whenever I launch NotePad++ I get the message "Do you want the
following
program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this machine?"
Secondly, both Explorer and Explorer Light almost always fail to show my network
drives. This is compounded by not being able to drag a file from a Windows
Explorer
window onto NotePad++. I can open files on my network drives with "file open",
but this is clumsy compared with using an explorer.

This was fixed in some v5.4.x series (see
http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/notepad-plus/index.php?title=Releases
) I suggest you upgrade to the latest (5.4.5) version, or confirm that you are
using it.

Post your request on IdeaTorrent, since it is easie to look for all feature
requests in one place. Don't be surprised about the low vote counts, the vote
system doesn't work right atm. But SF hopefully will fix what they broke.

I opened around 12 files from the same directory and performed a search-replace
across all open files. The current tab was on a file where no changes where
made even though 104 changes were made to other files. I attempted to save
all changes using the File->Save All menu item but it was grayed out (disabled).
Selecting a tab for a file where changes were made caused the Save All option
to be enabled and the files were saved. I replicated this by reversing and
then reapplying the changes so I have recreated this behavior three times.

If I press Shift+Caps+Space inside a function, the cursor moves to some weird
place(the last function or something? I dont know). How can I disable this?
I didn't find it under shortcuts.

It looks like an XHTML validation tool would be a good project. I wish I had
