No, this bug was reported before, and it seems that the issue is not trivial
- don't have the sources at hand to check. Obviously an Unicode string is being
returned and read as ANSI, so I expect the issue is only seen on the Unicode
version.

Your settings were saved to the wrong file. Try adding a zero byte length file
named doLocalConf.xml along Notepad++. You may lose other config elements, but
your change will stick. If the file is there, try removing it instead.
The conflicting configuration files are in the %APPDATA%\Notepad++\ directory.

somebody know how can I replace a word from a lot of documents under certain
circumstances , maybe this I want to do will be a new characteristic in
notepad++,
or is this possible to do it now? check out my sample.
replace - - -.jpg arjth
for apples.jpg, so in just one click I will replace 002,003,004 for apples in
the diferent documents .txt.
document 1.txt
azr001.jpg arjth
document 2.txt
azr002.jpg arjth
document 3.txt
azr003.jpg arjth
document 4.txt
azr004.jpg arjth

Disregard my above post. It sort-of worked. Now it retains about half of the
settings about half of the time. Sometimes it will be completely reset, other
times it won't. The times it's not reset some of the settings don't stick like
font and font size. Totally weird. I'll try uninstalling, wiping everything,
and reinstalled to see if that helps. In the meantime any suggestions?
