I have a similar behavior. With a file having very long lines, in word wrap
mode, the scrolling position of the window returns to the beginning when
changing
tab. The actual cursor position is correct (so the cursor is outside view,
and typing would scroll the window). A problem which may be related is when
you paste a long line and the window does not scroll to keep the cursor visible.

Hi all,
I've switched on 'Tab Setting'-> 'Replace by space'. But it doesn't work.
I mean TAB character doesn't repalced by spaces.
Could you please explain why?

Existing tabs will not be replaced. NEW tabs will be replaced with an
appropriate
number of spaces.

Hi,
Notepad++ is crashing once in a shile while deleting the contents of open
files!!(!!!!)
When this happens CPU is at 50% (dual core, thus I guess 100% on one core)
Then the files which were open are 500 bytes in size!!!!
I am using all standard plug-ins plus the explorer plugin. version is 5.4.5
UNICODE, OS - VISTA 32, EN
If this is not a known bug which is fixed in the next bug fix release, I will
be permanently moving to some other editor, I am a developer and this is just
unacceptable!!!
(I was lucky since I was working on a temp project trying something out)

Hi, I need to make the Me keyword blue in vb. I went to the styler configurator,
under VB/VBS, under style WORD, and in the User Define keywords field, I added
Me, and even Me Mi Mo, just in case I needed space separation.
As it is, Me am still black!! How do I get Me to be more blue?

Which version are you using? Please upgrade to 5.4.5 if you are using anything
older.
For me, not only the tabs are replaced. Even better: if I type a tab before
the first non indent character of a line, then all the indentation is converted.
Which is usually what I want.
If you are using 5.4.5, coud you detail how you add tabs and check whether they
are replaced?

Please report the bug.
Even on closing and reopening NP++, the new keyword isn't colored. However,
if you modify it, and then reestablish it, it gets properly highlighted.
Modifying
a line the word is on also works.
A bigger issue is that the extra keywords are not saved on langs.xml, so that
they are forgotten when NP++ restarts. I don't have an %APPDATA%\Notepad++
folder,
so this cannot bbe a wrong config file issue.
