Lamonte - Extremely good idea! Nice to meet you here.
@Fellow users - If people who have developed plug-ins for Notepad++ can sow
the idea, we can definitely take it forward and come up with a plug-in.

I would like why the "Function List" is not avaliable on the Plugin Manager.
I didn't try to copy the dll out to the plugins folder.

I was wondering if Notepad++ has support to reference XML schema and star
using it by using some shortcut keys. Does any one know how to do this?

That last update of new posts to this list was full of questions, no
answers.
Inf act I dont think I have ever seen an answer in all of the 3 months I
have been a subscriber.
I have posted questions and not one person has replied.
I would reply to questions I have read if I news the answers.. but sadly
I dont (as yet).
So if this is not a place where developers are discussing their fine
product and how we can use it better .. where do we go for this sort of
forum?
All I want to know is where that little left-margin-highlight has gone
which showed lines I have added/deleted or modified during the edit
session (very very useful) that has mystically vanished and does not
appear to be in an option in the menus.
And the inevitable Windows 7 questions.. how to register Explorer
context menus to open with NotePad++ as the .reg did nothing (for me at
least).
All suggestions welcome,
Thanks.

Hello everyone.
I'm new to this mailing list. Actually, this is the first mailing list I
use. Then, this morning, when I read the Wallace MacGee?s post, I did notice
that many of the post I have been sent, never reached its destiny. They were
"answers"!
But, maybe I sent them to a wrong mail adress. I apologize, sorry.
Subject on those mail was that many of the features you have commented, are
already avalaible in Notepad++ version 5.5.1 Which is the one I use. But I
watched
that many of you are running previous versions.
For instance, my Np++ supports the inclusion of "dots" in the name of
files. And it?s possible to set Np++ 5.5.1 as the default .txt editor and
viewer (You only have to set up the option in the Settings menu). Its has an
"update option" located at '?' menu. And, also, It?s posible to indent
HTML/XML files using the options in TextFX menu. And all of this features,
are running by default in my Np++
That?s not an universal solution, but upgrading could solve many of your
doubts and problems.
I hope I?ve helped you.
PS: And ?Yes! I know that my english it?s awful. Please, be gentle with me,
I?m spanish ;)

Hi,
I would like to run a Perl script on one file. However, instead of
saving the file, opening the command line and navigating to that
directory, I would like to open the data file in Notepad++ and then run
the script from the GUI. Is that possible? Where should I save the
script so that Notepad++ can see it?
Thank you very much!
Cheers, Manuel

It certainly is possible.
