Chris McCubbin commented on ACCUMULO-482: ----------------------------------------- bq. How do we let users specify that they want to let system set timestamp? I just modified PKey to make timestamp an optional value. If it is unset then the system will set the timestamp. I believe this is the best way to specify this so we don't have any "magic timestamp values" (0, -1, etc) that users may actually want to use for some reason. > Add a thrift proxy server > ------------------------- > > Key: ACCUMULO-482 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-482 > Project: Accumulo > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Sapan Shah > Assignee: Chris McCubbin > Attachments: accumulo482patch-A.diff, accumulo482patch.diff > > > Add a thrift proxy server to make integration with other languages besides > Java a bit easier.
