I ran {{accumulo init}} several days ago (before the replication changes).
This will be the same state as someone presently running 1.6.0.
I was able to start after creating the znodes:

/accumulo/2f3173c3-c02f-4e3a-b01c-7f721d4a9f00/replication
/accumulo/2f3173c3-c02f-4e3a-b01c-7f721d4a9f00/replication/tservers
