Seems reasonable. I just had a hard time connecting it to the issue which
inspired this one (given that one was specifically related to the metadata).
To your question... users also can put arbitrary iterator configuration in
zookeeper, and namespace names. We could limit those also, and user names and
passwords for the ZKAuthenticator. Other unconstrained items in zookeeper are
user authorizations. We could add a limit to those, but then we'd have to
recommend using another implementation if they need to exceed that limit (or
make the limit configurable).
Perhaps a limits configuration interface might be useful to encapsulate all of
these?
