What about the original point of why you added this in the first place
(ACCUMULO-4004)? The description for the property seems woefully sparse
compared to the problem it was meant to work around.
I assume this is something that you've run into in production Accumulo
instances which is why I thought it would deserve documentation about why this
property is important, the symptoms in which you might want to adjust it, and
the implications of changing it. Am I blowing it out of proportion?
