Josh Elser updated ACCUMULO-4317:
---------------------------------
    Attachment: ACCUMULO-4317-testing.001.patch

Here's a patch that can go on top of Michiel's which allows for some better
testing of his original bugfix. I would only target master for my changes since
they are a little more intrusive, but at least we know that we have some test
coverage for his changes.

[~mdrob], since you've already cut two RCs, I understand if we skip this for
1.7.2.

[~mjwall], is this OK to land for 1.8.1 since there hasn't been an rc1 yet?

Anyone have a moment to review these changes? ([~ctubbsii], [~bills],
[~billie.rinaldi])

> Accumulo stores hostnames in zookeeper, if the client can not resolve these
> then it will continue to try to connect in a while(true) loop. This will
> eventually cause 'too many files open' errors.
> Loop is in ServerClient.java$executeRaw
> Bug: Should error out after some time, not retry infintely.
> Workaround: Add hostnames to /etc/hosts and restart.
