For 3.0, PR #1328 will remove the FileSystemMonitor that monitors the mounted file systems and can kill the server if a disk goes read-only. With WALs using hdfs, the primary driver for this action is not necessary. Also, the current FileSystemMonitor code uses a limited set of file systems and supports etx3, ext4 and xfs and would need to be updated for newer file systems such as btrfs. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
