But in that case I believe it would be better to add s single new attribute that supports a single specific format without any dialescts rather than overload things like touch's "I'll fd my best" datetime with even more options. Is https://reproducible-builds.org/docs/source-date-epoch/ the preferred option even outside of Debian?
